Signing up is a THREE step process: (1) Become an NSNA member (2) Become an LCC SNA member and (3) Fill out your information in our online form. *Please note that by becoming a member of our website does not mean you are a member of our chapter. Follow the steps below to become an official member of our chapter.
Note: You may skip to step 2 and join our local chapter only for $15. This will allow you to participate in volunteer and fundraising activities and provide you with a t-shirt. Keep in mind that this will not provide you with the benefits of the NSNA. If you choose to become a board member and participate in leadership roles, you will be required to join both the NSNA as well as our local chapter.
To sign up to become an NSNA member follow these easy steps which should take you no more than five minutes!
1.) Click or copy and paste this link into your browser: http://www.nsna.org/
2.) In the upper right hand corner click Member Services.
3.) In the left column under Sign Up For New Membership click Click Here to Sign Up.
4.) Enter your personal information. Click Continue to Step 2.
5.) Choose OR in the drop down state box.
6.) A list of schools should appear. Click Select next to Lane Comm College.
7.) Click Continue to Step 3 and fill in your education information.
8.) Click Continue to Step 4 and do not check any leadership position.
9.) Click Continue to Step 5 and fill in your information. Please enter 4010 in the Recruiter Number box.
10.) Click Continue to Step 6 and fill in your credit/debit card information for the one year $40.00 or two year $80.00 membership fee.
11.) Click Authorize and print out your confirmation page with your membership ID (be sure to keep this number safe)!
Sign up with the LCC local chapter! Our local dues are only $15, and here are your payment options:
1.) Come to our next meeting!
You can bring cash or a check to our next meeting (stay tuned for meeting dates/times) along with your membership number (if you also joined the NSNA). The check must be addressed to "Lane Community College" and in the memo/for line please write "LCC SNA".
2.) Send us a check!
If you don't know if you can make the next meeting, please put your $15 check (or cash), along with a copy of your membership number (if you also joined the NSNA) in a sealed envelope addressed to LCC Student Nurses' Association. Drop in the health professions dropbox downstairs by the restrooms in building 30.
